Happiness is a purely subjective term and there is no magic formula for eternal happiness. What I am sure of is that many times we have prioritized other things before our happiness. As we grow older, responsibilities increase, expenses increase and we are filled with stress, anxiety and even depression because many times we stop having contact with the people we love to take care of other things.
Do not forget that it is not bad to take a break, take a deep breath and reconnect with the things that make us happy, such as seeing your friends or family, watch your favorite movie or series, go for a walk, eat your favorite dish, resume an activity or sport you like or just disconnect from the outside world, happiness can manifest itself in many ways, it's up to you to find what makes you happy.
Sometimes we get so overwhelmed by negative emotions that we find it difficult to regain happiness on our own and must seek outside help from a professional in the mental health field.
